This innovative musical endeavor is the brainchild of John Stephen Kuhns—a composer, producer, music designer, guitarist, bassist, and unapologetic technophile.

His approach to music and technology is deeply rooted in his diverse educational background. Having studied Music Composition at Berklee, Computer Science at Champlain College, and Audio Engineering at the University of Sound Arts in Hollywood (now the Los Angeles Film School), John merges these distinct disciplines to tackle music production from a highly technical and creative perspective.

By blending traditional composition with advanced sequencing, carefully curated sound design, and the latest technological innovations, the project explores the absolute cutting edge of digital audio.

The current focus of the Sagus Project is a ten-track album being developed for Hallwood Media. Leaning heavily into a complex jazz-fusion space, this work allows John to stretch his boundaries as a composer and push the limits of what is possible in modern music creation.
